All ages and levels of drawing experience welcome! Join artist/naturalist Val Webb for a morning among the fall blooms at Mobile Botanical Gardens. Sketch pitcher plants in the bog garden, flowering perennials in the pollinator garden, wildflowers in the longleaf pine preserve, and much more.
We will gather at 10am for a quick overview of the gardens and a 15-minute demo on sketching botanical subjects. Bring your favorite sketchbook and drawing supplies; canvas artist stools may be rented for $2.
The meet-up is free, but there is a $5 gate fee to enter the gardens. This is a special discounted rate for our event.
